Speedball batts are my go-to for throwing and trimming. I've tried others but always prefer these. Clings nicely to the batt pins (no wiggle) and work comes off the batt easily each time.Will update with demo.

The product fits the Brent wheels and has no holes on top to catch throwing tools when making large platters. Some people mentioned the difficulty of taking off the sticker. I use a hair dryer to soften the adhesive and slowly pull up on sticker .I keep the heat on the adhesive side of the lifted sticker while I continue to pull the sticker off completely. Always works like a charm an any product sticker.

These bats work great. They're super sturdy and aren't prone to warping. My only struggle with them is that they're pretty hard to get off the wheel, so if you use too much force and your piece comes off suddenly then it could warp. Overall, a good bang for your buck but with a caveat!

Okay, so great for small pottery wheel items. But it is difficult for anything over three pounds not to hit the sides with your hands. I think they are smooth and the grid on the back keeps them from warping. However, it is very difficult to clean out the grid on the back so be sure you are okay with leaving some clay. Unless you want to submerge each one an soak them in a bucket. I just leave the clay that gets stuck in the back side and use them again and again.

These are my favorit to use, I just wish they were a little less expensive, consideering they are just stamped plastic. Still, the are sturdy, keep their flatness and great to work with.

My wheel has bat pins that are spaced 10inches apart and this fit perfect. I mainly use this for trimming my pieces, instead of adhering to the wheel.

I’m so glad I’m able to find pottery tools and bats on Amazon! There are only a couple of stores locally and they are much more expensive. This bat is exactly as described. I’ve noticed a tiny bit of warping after a lot of use which i didn’t know was possible for plastic bats but otherwise it works well.

I didn’t like the design underneath this bat. It doesn’t allow for it to rest well on the wheel head. You feel it moving when you centre the clay.The holes didn’t line up well with the pins. I couldn’t use one of them at all.But I don’t use any of them now. Save your money.

Perfect for making plates. Clay comes off easily when leather hard. The notches are really helpful in positioning the bat on the wheel head over the bat pins. I just love using these.
