I purchased 4 flavors Hickory Blend, Hunter’s Blend, Mesquite Blend, and Mandarin Teriyaki. All 4 flavors are good, they are both mild and flavorful.This was my first time making jerky from ground beef and in the oven. I followed the directions and all went well.Hickory tastes a lot like what people would refer to as Original flavor.Mesquite has the smoked Mesquite flavor to it, and very good.Hunter’s Blend would be considered Peppered. I liked it a lot, strong pepper flavor, but no heat to it, very good.Mandarin teriyaki, tastes like teriyaki and is mild, not too salty or sweet.I marinated the mixed meat over night before drying. The flavors were mildly good. After a week they became even more flavorful and still very good. I’m please how these turned out.

Great kit.
This is a great kit. My family loves jerky. I am the jerky maker. This kit makes it very easy to make. I get compliments every time I make it. Price is reasonable.

It's a taste preference
Not all things taste the same to others. I think Hi Mountain makes the best jerky cure, but this one just didn't delight the taste buds. Was hoping for more of a teriyaki flavor.

this Mandarin teriyaki blend mountain jerky cure and seasoning Makes the best beef jerky as well as turkey jerky. I used 97% lean ground beef. Mouthwatering and spicy.

Hot Dog Flavor
Made 3 lbs of bottom round jerky on the pellet smoker. First time using this kit. Easy to use with the guide. We expected TEIYAKI flavor but it tastes like a salty hot dog.
