AUTO METER2604 Z-Series Mechanical Oil Pressure Gauge, 2-1/16" (52.4mm)

I love Autometer and have been using their products for over 20 years. This gauge is very well built! I changed the 194 bulb out with an LED equivalent. I did recently discover that the gauge itself is off by 10 PSI. I used the copper tubing kit and checked for any kinks and loose connections. But compaired to my Snap On mechanical oil pressure gauge and an old OTC gauge, it's 10 PSI off. I already contacted Autometer. Still awaiting a response. But besides that, the gauge is still very well made. Rear glass face and metal bezel. I would buy again if they replace this defective gauge for me, which I'm sure they will.

I purchased this oil pressure gauge to confirm my car's oil pressure as the cluster gauge showed I have low oil pressure. This gauge which connects to the engine with a small hose reads about 10 lbs of pressure at idle where my cluster gauge shows near zero. At operating speeds this gauge shows the same pressure as my cluster gauge telling me my original sensor or cluster gauge is not sensitive enough at idle. It is well built and comes with all necessary tubing, connectors and wiring. It comes with a red or green cap for the light bulb. I used the green cap and it provides just the right amount of illumination with a nice soft green background. The product itself is easy to install. Installation difficulty will depend on your vehicle.

This is a great gauge from a great company. It comes with everything needed to install a mechanical pressure gauge with american fittings. If your needs are metric I would keep in mind that you will need to visit a brass cabinet somewhere. It works flawlessly as all auto meter gauges do in my experience. At this price it's a no brainier to use this over a cheap parts store gauge, particularly for something vital like oil pressure

meter looks very nice, fit well and had all of the pieces that I needed. this went into a 94 mustang and also kept original dash unit with a tee. couldn't find any other one that could do the job, not much room under the stang. i'm happy

Gauge works perfectly

This is a mechanical guage and you will have to run a oil line from the engine to the dash. Yasy enough to do. It is accurate, easy to read and easy to install. Back light works great.

the gauge is exactly what you would expect from autometer good quality good craftsmanship however a view or a picture of the mounting would have been beneficial I did not know how they gauge mounted and I currently cannot use it in this type of way

Includes everything you need to wire in the light and plumb the line. Good quality gauge
