The hat is okay. It is fairly warm, although we've only had a couple of mornings below freezing so far. Not sure what it would do in sub-zero weather.That being said, the fit is off. Both loose and tight in random areas. I think it's likely the stretch of the lining isn't working with the non-stretching nylon, so it pulls in weird areas. I gave it to my daughters who just like the fur.

I love this hat! I bought the camo one for hunting and I think I will buy a different color for regular wear. It is insanely warm and soft. I imagine I saved 60 or so bucks buying on Amazon instead of the local outdoorsman store. The "fur" is just on the parts you can see when wearing, but the inside is a super soft, think fleece. Anyone who spends time outdoors in the freezing cold should have one. It kept me warm in the below freezing temperatures here in Michigan. I am a woman and generally wear smaller hats and this fits me well. I imagine someone with a large head wouldn't be able to wear it unfortunately. It arrived almost scent free and survived two washes flawlessly so far. Because this is a hunting item It will be washed more than normal so I guess I will update if I encounter any problems. So far I am very impressed.

Opened the package to try this hat on and the plastic side release buckle on the chin strap broke in half. The side of the buckle with the two prongs broke -- leaving the prongs inside the other part of the buckle. So immediately, the hat is TOTALLY UNUSABLE. Also, it is too tight for my husband's head (whom I bought it for) and the face mask would not even reach around to fasten on him. It fits me great (no room to spare, but not too tight) and my head measures 22" around. I also ordered the same hat (in another color) for myself. It hasn't arrived yet and I'm not sure whether to cancel that order or just wait and see how it goes. Other than the major malfunction of the breaking buckle, the hat seems like it would be great for cold weather. The fabric feels like it would be water & wind resistant; the lining is thick and soft; and the detachable face cover is a great touch. Put some sturdier buckles on this and it would be a winner!!

like the product, works well and keeps warm even in high winds. clip broke after about 8-10 uses. contacted the seller and since I had the hat over a year they wouldn't send a replacement 25 cent clip. I live in virginia so we don't get a lot of real cold days where this hat is required but since I have to walk 5 miles every day and choose to do it outside the hat is great for that.......as long as the closure works. if not,.....then not so much. seller is missing the mark on customer satisfaction.....moreso in light of how ridiculously inexpensive the part is.

Keeping it with me ALL THE TIME in the winter...it's a great help to keep the cold air out of my ears, but I do wear a windbreaker hood or a ski headband I have underneath it sometimes, depending the severity of the weather because the hat is a little large; however, it is full coverage and keeps the wind off the back and sides of my neck as well as my forehead, head, and ears. I don't use the mouth cover too often but I am happy that it came with an attachable cover and I really like the flap the folds down to cover all of my forehead. I cannot say that this is a fashion accessory, but it shows you had good sense to buy something to protect yourself. I'm very happy with my decision to buy it.

I actually tried to cancel this order but it was already processing and I couldn't, but am SO glad it ended up coming! This is the BEST, warmest hat ever! The one I received isn't "sewn crooked" or "not fur lined" like a couple of negative reviews said; mine is FULLY FUR LINED and perfectly sewn! The mask part fits a little loose, but that's ok, the rest of the hat is PERFECT and fits me well not falling over my eyes or anything (I'm 5'5" & about 125 lbs and have a small head so it might be snug on a larger female or a man but still fit them), it's water repellent and SO WARM! I paid the full price for this hat and it was worth it! I don't know about the other colors, but I highly recommend the "Rose" (bright pink) one! It's the perfect "girl's" hat of this style! May edit and post photos later on, so far I LOVE this hat! :)

My husband wears it around the apartment. He says it's warm and will be perfect for the next time he goes hunting! Very nice quality! One of the snap buttons came off, but there's two in that spot so it isn't a problem right now. The snaps are stiff and just ripped it out when trying to unfasten the mask portion. If the other button comes off, then we'll have to find a way to fix it for the mask portion to be usable. Other than that, it is a great, warm, cozy hat!

Fit large, but was what I wanted because I wear ball hat underneath because no one makes a decent cold weather hat for hunting that shades eyes well. Would rate five stars in all but one way, to snap the mask on, you have to pull the earflaps too close together. Hat fits large head, but mask pulls it together like for a small kid. I can't use it like it came. Snaps should be farther apart. As is, I'll have to modify to use face mask, so 3 stars to otherwise well build, warm hat.

I bought this hat at the end of October, 2017. I am writing this review at the beginning of March, 2018 - during the infamous "Beast from the East" cold snap.I can safely advise other would-be purchasers that this is a very warm, well made hat. If anything, during normal British winters, it can be a little too warm. During the Beast it was a godsend.Only 4 stars because I haven't used it in the rain - although I would be very surprised if it failed to keep one's head dry. I also found the face mask a bit fiddly and have discarded it. It would be helpful in driving skowbit my snood looks after that.In conclusion, a warm and comfortable hat that doesn't itch and is very good value for money. I think the one and two star reviewers need to keep the price in mind!

Did not expect this quality for £9.99. It is perfect, very good quality, warm and feels very good. Definitely worth it.

I have received these hats yesterday. I ordered two of them. It fit properly for me and my wife. I am quite happy with it because it is very warm and covers your head beautifully. The only purpose for me to buy these hats is for trip to Iceland in december. So far I am very happy with its quality and the warmth it provides.

This is a little on the large size for the average woman but it does mean that you can tuck it in to your coat to give added warmth. It is definitely warm and in working outside during the winter is an essential garment. After one day at work I had numerous comments from colleague's as to how they could acquire one.

This keeps my head warm. As a person on Blood Thinning Medication and also having a Pacemaker, but generally fit, this helps to keep me very warm, (Sometimes too warm!). It keeps my face and ears warm although I have had no need to wear the mask yet. Good Value!Can't really walk into the local Bank with the mask on as well!
