I had an old but fully functioning B&O TV which had a SCART socket, I had used a BT Youview box to connect the analogue TV to digital which worked for a number of years until the Youview box failed but I didn't want to lose the lovely old TV, it was a waste. The new Youview box only had an HDMI output so I was forced to go down the converter route. It was quite simply useless, there was nothing but a fuzzy screen and no sound, it did not work no matter what I did. I know the TV was still functioning correctly and the BT box also.I think these converters are notoriously dodgy and this one stuck to that brief. Amazon, however, were quick to offer a refund. I ended up buying a new TV!

My tv is too old to have a hdmi port. So I bought one of these to work with my Amazon firestick. works great.

Works in principle , but does not work with all tvs , worked for one of the jobs I needed it for.

This was a massive disappointment. Using with 4K Firestick. HDMI broken on TV at the Caravan, thought this was a quick fix to avoid buying a new TV.The picture is watchable, we've watched a few Football matches BUT, the sound is unusable, Quiet and Echoey, sounds like you are underwater or in a church. Disappointed as the seller claims this works with everything and IT DOES NOT!. Considering sending it back.

Excellent product ideal if you have an old tv and cant afford a new one. Works perfectly easy plug and play.

I bought this to add Amazon Fire to my TV (no HDMI connections) the only screen I got was a monochrome jumble, I tried a brand new Fire Stick with exactly the same result. Not to be outdone I tried my freeview box, which does work on that TV. A coloured jumble of lines appeared but no picture. The Scart Scaler does not work not even on a two year old TV, my conclusion is that this box of tricks does not work at all so is being returned.
